JK07,

I attended interview on 09/21 in Cincinnati(finished 5 years already ) and no oath letter yet.

Early interview

I am on the same boat. Interview scheduled for 16th November 09 which is 27 days before my 5th anniversary> I will keep you all posted what happens.

Hi GCHELP4,
Did you receive any oath letter? Looks like we missed Cincinnati's October Oath ceremony.

JK07,

No... I didn't get the oath letter yet... Hopefully for November.. don't know whether infopass will help.

Funny: when I looked around Case Status site, I found that my I-485 application (approved in 01/2006) has a new "Last Updated Date" of 02/2008.

What could that mean?

* Note on "Last Updated" date:
Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email and/or text message notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.

Oath Done

Finally I got mine and my wife's Oath done yesterday -- there were 25 people for 10am ceremony. It took 1-1/2 hr from start to finish including waiting time (Actual Oath Ceremony took just 20 mins).

This forum is so great and I wish good luck for all who are waiting to become citizens.

I received my oath letter after three weeks from my interview date.

My interview is scheduled for 12/08/09 just 5 days shy of my 5-year GC anniversary. I sent in my N-400 85 days before my 5-year anniversary and like many on this board have no regrets for having done so. Will keep you guys posted as I learn of how long it took to my oath letter. Thank you guys for sharing your experiences and all those awaiting their OL- Hang in there!

And my H1-B application's LUD is showing "04/2009" in my portfolio. This application was approved way back in 2000!

Why these recent updates to very old applications? Does anyone know?

Me and My wife had an US Citizen interview on October 27.Passed Civic and English test.IO officer said that Decision cant be made now but she said that she will approve on 11/8/2009 and send the OATH Letter. For my wife IO recommended for approval and said they will send the OATH letter after completion of 5 years.

You probably had a change of address. Even when an application is approved and finished, sometimes a change of address will be recorded as an update.
