Hi business+,
Did you file for AP? Also, did you do medical exam and file I-693 along with the I-485?

Aos at Arlington

Hey, jzlthssw

I didn't file for AP , but I did my medical exam before filing and send it along with other documents. When I call them , they told me that in Arlington office you should file I-693 along with other AOS documents.
In addition, I heard they moved to Fairfax, hopefully that will make them a little bit fast, but I doubt it.
For how long do u wait for your interview?

Thanks for your reply. For me, I haven't started I-485 for my wife yet but will do next week.

My Timeline

Filed 04/29/04
EAD+I-131: Juy 29 04
Finger Printing: July 6 04
Nothing after that...

I have to file for renewal EAD and AP doc now...

wow...

That's a long wait :( and I am five months behind you. On their web site it says they are currently processing February 2004, we'll see what happens. File your I-765, 3 months before expiring so you can get your new card on time.
And question from me: When you first got your receipts for I-765, I-485 did you take a fingerprints for both of them and how long it took for you to say on their website 'result of your fingerprints were received on...' That thing is totally confusing to me, I don't know if I am going to have to wait for my
'name to be cleared' or that is a done deal with fingerprints.
Best luck to you. :)

For my mother:

Filed: 8/4/2003 (DC district office)
NBC Receipt date: 3/27/2004
FP: 8/27/2004
waiting...

I called NBC toll-free number in mid March and talked to a rep. The rep checked and told me they were processing receipt date of 1/26/2004. I guess that was the date for cases to DC district office.

gcinahari, I believe you can call the toll free number and demand a status update. You can get newer information. For cases like yours and my moms who have waited for more than 6 months without any updates, we can call every two months to talk to someone (at least the telephone system will forward us to reps).

dunno

Ok, one more thing. When I filed my paperwork , the letters that I received in the mail were from Kansas City , Missouri ?! And everything else later that I received from USCIS was from Kansas City district office not Arlington one. Is it that they send everybody’s to Kansas City , MO or no?
