Time to get Receipt Date

After applying for I-765 and I-485 how many months does it take to get a simple Receipt date??????????????/
 
It depends on service center, normally 25-30 days ( i have also seen the longer time to get receipt).If you file through lawyer then lawyer gets the receipt notices and they take time to send you, be in touch with your lawyer and check when he sent the applications.
Also depends if it is concurrent filing or based on approved I-140

Thanx a lot for your reply. Its not concurrent filing. I-140 is approved. The most important thing I want to know is even if I get the receipt date now, will it be the date closer to the date when I applied? (It was somewhere around June 13, 2003) Or RD will be somewhere in August 2003? It matters a lot to me coz I want to apply for IEAD after 3 months from RD. I can go in Sept if I have RD somewhere in June. It is CSC. (Thats why the need to get IEAD)

I have applied AOS for my wife after my citizenship in Dallas during May 03. But till today I have not received any thing, even receipt date. I have waited for a month, then applied EAD separately, we have completed FP for EAD. If you can apply EAD, do not wait for receipt. I sent couple of letters to BCIS, no response. I may need to there personally. I am planing by end of this month.

Two things

Deepti,

They have two things RD and ND. Your RD will be May 2003 and ND will be August.

They process by your RD.

Thank you very much for your replies. Got the RD from lawyer. Its in June. Does anybody know whats the WAC series of I-765 CSC is currently processing?
