time line for chicago district office for I-485

Hello I am starting this new tread for chicagoans, i mean the people who live in chicago and r expecting I 485 interviews here. it will be great if we share our time line and expeiriences in chicago district office
mailed on 04/07/05 the I 485 pakage!!

my rd 12/10/04.

right now i am waiting for my interview letter. patience is killing me...cant wait any longer. :(

NOA: 12/20/04
FP: 1/8/05
feb 24/05EAD approved
mar 4/05 EAD card received.
now waiting for AOS interview...
4/1/05 called NBC customer service no but didnt get a satifying answer. rep said more 8 months to get an interview. so little disappointed. thanks.
 
they r doing may 2004 rite now so i guess a few more months, did they approve your I 130 when did uget AP??

i didnt apply for advance parole and i didnt get any NOA for I-130. what i was told by my lawyer that i did not worry about approval of I-130.

my checks were cashed 04/13/05,dont have NOA rite now
mailed application on 04/07/05,theyreceived it on 04/08/05,
will update a head
 
hi my checks have been cashed , is there a way to know riecept no i.e NOAS no,can we schedule and appointment even before we get the NOA ????

No. You can not schedule it before you receive your notice because there will be an A# on your Notice which they will ask you when you will call them to set up the appointment.
There will be a receipt # starting with 3 letter on back of your cancelled check.

i have done FP today with my local ASC, luckily got Appt for 2day.
woner how long it takes to get FP report back to NBC??
