I am now in India. I got recruited for an US company, which likes to start me working from October 1, 2004. They are processing my H-1B for the FY 2005 quota on April 1, 2004.
1. What is the earliest time I will get my papers from INS?

2. Incase If I don't receive the papers, how can I start working from October 1, 2004... Suggest alternatives?
+++++++++++++++You need an H-1 or similar work visa. No other alternatives. They can always convert your H-1 to "Premium Processing" at any time.
