time frame for citizenship test in Windsor

Hi all,
Has anyone had their file transferred to the Windsor office recently?
Mine was transferred a month ago from Sydney. So just trying to get some idea on how long it is taking them to call for the test/oath. What does the local office do about the application? They will review and check your application again. Any response will be appreciated.
 
Mine was transferred on Nov 17, 2005. No word on test as of today. One of my family friends mentioned theirs took a year before they were called for the test !!!!

Apparently, Windsor sucks big time and they take their own sweet time claiming huge back logs...!!!
 
Following up on my earlier post, I was thinking of writing to our MP regarding the unreasonable wait times. I was gonna wait couple of months and also for the elections to get over. Based on talking to various individuals, Toronto area has about 2 month wait time from file transfer to oath, Guelph - 2 months, Mississauga - 1 month.

I was thinking we should write a collective letter to the MP. What do you both think?

The only issue might be that each of us might fall under different riding as there are 3 of them in the Windsor - Tecumseh -Essex area. I fall under the Essex riding since I live in the Tecumseh area.

If there are more that are going thro' long wait times at Windsor, feel free to post.
 
My case was transferred to Windsor office on Feb 1, still waiting for the notice of writing test, why it takes so long? Please post your timeline for processing applications in Windsor. Thanks!
