Time for EAD?

We filed I-130/I-485/I-765 for my wife (spouse of US Citizen). USCIS requested medical examination (I-693) forms that we submitted two weeks ago. She also did her biometrics about three months ago. Since we have not yet received the EAD, should I write to them? The receipt date for our applications is early July.

Thanks a lot!!

My guess would be that the RFE for your I-693 is holding up your EAD. Best bet would be to make an infopass appointment (if possible) to go ask them about the status of her EAD.

Did ur doctor enclosed Supplement A with I-693? Double-check on that. U will get EAD within 90 days from the day your RFE was received. Infopass probably won't do any good. U can write a letter to MSC.

Strictly speaking the Infopass is still the correct thing to do if you're 90 days past EAD, even if DO's no longer give out iEADs. The infopass is supposed to get the ball rolling on kicking the MSC up the ass to get your EAD processed.

I never received my EAD. I called the service center twice, once after 3 months had passed, and then 3 months after the initial phone call. I didn't call them again, because I didn't see a point as my interview was close to the 3 month mark again. I asked the interviewer about this, and they said "Don't worry about it, your green card IS your EAD now."

So, I didn't worry about it :)
