Those who got FPs lately

I have plans to travel outside US for 2 months. I am expecting FP in a short time.

Could you tell me how much of time window does your FP notice says you have after
first FP date until your application will be considered abandoned.

The FP notice says that you can get the FP done in 7 day period starting mm/dd/yy or on any one day of the week (in my case wednesday) for the next 3 months.
