Yeah, yeah, I can understand 485GCCase's state of mind. I feel the same when I see June 2002 cases being approved every other day. But that's life I guess.

485GCCase

Sooner or later all are going to get approved, only time is the factor and patience is the key.

Folks, there might be a pattern here.

If the approved folks could provide certain info like salary(above 6 figures etc.), job profile (medium sized or large company) etc., it might give us an insight on why some cases get approved before others. It has to be more than sheer luck (although luck does play an important factor). Why not start an poll for the approved folks on some of these parameters
Salary > 100K
Salary 75 < 100K
Company (fortune 500, large , medium , small etc.)

and other parameters like skills etc.

Hey 485GCcase,

Why you guys don't have any common sense ? Is it your right to get your GC approved on your watch. Everyone is frustrated because of the waiting game...that doesn't mean we have to go down to this level where we show our utter frustration by bad mouthing the INS officers. Remember you are no better than INS officer regardless of whatever job or education you may have.

Remember this: This forum is also a therapeutic place, where people come and share frustrations and vent out their anger. This is good for them and it takes some pressure off, by knowing that other people are also facing similar circumstances.
Everyone knows how to behave, and does not appreciate advice under such circumstances.
Give them suggestions to reduce anxiety if you can.......

Sai,
This forum is not what you say it is. Don't call it what it is NOT.

Obviously you don't know How to behave when you "look down" upon anyone or "name calling" in this case it happens to be INS officers!

YOU DO WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT, I WILL DO WHAT I AM GOOD AT...I DON'T NEED YOUR ADVISE IN FIGURING OUT WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG.

2001

Guys from 2001 and anybody with I-485 pending for more than six months.

DO NOT COMPLAIN AS YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING FOR YOUR CAUSE (with a couple of exceptions). USCIS WOULD NEVER FIND MORE APATHETIC APPLICANTS...BEST FIT IN THE WORLD..

You are not only hurting your cases but the whole process itself.
So stop whining and complaining. Be real men and women and face the situation or DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Complain to YOUR LAWYER (AILA or NOT), AND YOUR CONGRESSMAN. Above all, SUE with Rajiv or without him. Contact the Press if you know how. Generally speaking, WAKE UP and FIGHT.

Firstly my post was not directed at you but a general comment in being considerate towards those who have had a rough day and need some help or pep-talk . Everyone needs to feel good at the end of the day.

Talking is nothing. It will not change BCIS much. We have two choices: 1) Join the action team; 2) Be patient and waiting.

Just be patient

Patience is an important virtue- when dealing with complex and very critical issue like GC. It is twice as important when the process is long/tedious/full of surprises/randomness/economic cycles/political issues/ 9-11/......

Be patient, stay distracted and have fun- it will eventually get done.
