Those of you that have already interviewed!

Maybe so, but at the end of the day, USCIS doesn't seem to get too excited about missing AR-11's.

For those of you who has interviewed, did you update to USCIS by filling out an AR-11 form of where you lived (your address[es]) within the stated 30 days policy everytime you've moved?

If you did not update your new address by filling out an AR-11 form, then did this "address change" topic ever come up in your interview?

It is not 30 days.
It is even more strict - you need to update it within 10 days! of your moving.

I have heard they dont ask much about it. But go ahead and file it now. It is ok to file it even now for your old addresses, and keep proof that you filed.

Do send a separate AR-11. I would not consider the N-400 as an equivalent way of notifying. I think thats a very very liberal way of assuming things.

(No offense to anyone, just my take on it)

Many lawyers seem to take the view that sending a N-400 (or any other application) is equivalent to sending a change of address notice, because basically you're notifying USCIS about your current address.

Well, these lawyers are dumbasses then because it clearly states on the USCIS Change of Address website section that filling an application (ie N400) with your new address IS NOT the same as filling an AR-11!

An applicant must do both:
1) fill out an AR-11
2) call USCIS
