This weeks NSC approvals on Rupnet were as follows.
July 7
Aug 8
Sept 3

Total of 18. Last week there were 16 Rupnet approvals and the week before 20.

Based on current trends it looks as though they are on track to complete July processing in about 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see if they then start processing October or work to clear August cases. At their present rate August will take about 8 more weeks to clear. If they devote the resources currently assigned to July, then they could be finished in 5 weeks.

Good Analysis, but trend may not continue

With the new Home Land Security Bill signed by the President today, the past trend may not hold good in future.

There is lot of confusion on the likely delays this is going to cause.

Good luck to everyone.

There is a different approach to working, in a merger and a takeover. I understand that this is a case of both. The old employees will exist, but department will not. Things can be faster or slower depending upon the instructions from big bosses and the ease of use of new equipment.
I think the employees will perform better under the new management, so things should move faster than expected. Then on the other hand if the new management comes up with more stringent measures to check each individual then the things might get slower. Based on these assumptions the things will be at the same pace they are now, around 80 cases per month.
