This week, Any one got stamped at BOSTON ins?

Does anyone know if the EAD renewal still can be obtained on the same day?

I shall appreciate it if anyone could provide this info. My lawyer says it\'s still available, but friend\'s lawyer says it has been stopped.
 
I am in the same boat

My EAD expires in a couple of months.
How do i apply for EAD renewal.
Do i have to go through the lawers or could i fill the required forms ( i have no idea what they are) and go to the boston INS office.
