This time last year there were tons of us waiting for approvals and the average time from filing our I485's was 2 1/2 -3 years old!!! Yes that's right. And this wasn't for exceptional cases but everyone was waiting this long. I see from the latest processing times for California SC is April 1, 2005 - what a dream, they have never had the processing date within 3 months of the current date. I see people on this board getting approved in months - that is amazing.

I know it sucks they are going to start retrogressing new apps, but the delay is expected to be resolved by Oct, in the grand scheme of things this is pretty quick. I wish all I had to do was wait and extra 3 months instead of 2 1/2 years.

This too shall pass.
 
Obviously, you are fooled by USCIS processing date. I would say there are less than 10% approvals at published processing date. Now everybody is stuck in FBI name checking, even back to 2002 for someone. And suddenly, they come out new idea which is visa number unavailable! We are double cursed. I found those agencies are very innovative to screw legal immigrants.

is right, illegal immigrants gets all types of benefits and legal gets screwed.
In my office, one of my buddy he is American and aged 40+ years, he is also saying same. he is saying Govt. spends lot money for illegal immigrants each year.

This is totally unfair, injustice and Frustation to legal and cool immigrants.
