This is sooo confusing!!!

I just received another notice today from USCIS for my I-130 petition...but to my suprise it came from California Service Center,whereas I sent my forms to Texas and the EAD receipt notice earlier received came from Texas..can they be processing the different papers(I-485,I-765,I-130) in different places???even though North Carolina is not under California center???
 
I think because texas is swamped right now and california isn't

you are right it should have gone to texas but because texas' processing dates are way far away and californa's is so short might as well break up the work load

maybe some of those new york applicants should also be sent there
