I checked for the first time by calling IIO.. An RFE is generated for my wife\'s EAD. I applied for it along with 485.. The checks are cashed on July 31st and an RFE is generated on 2nd August. I\'ve not got any RFE so is my lawyer. I could not get in touch with any IIO in regular timings of service center. What a joke? What the f... I do???? PATHETIC.
 
Same with me

I checked the AVM for EAD status, it said my case approved on Aug 17th, And my spouse case they issued RFE on Aug. 21st. Still I am not able to get the line to speak with IIO. I do not know what the RFE for.

Any one has similar expri. Please help us.

Kool down. You will get it soon. Anyway the IIOs will not disclose the details of the RFE.
By the way I had got RFE for my EAD too.It was for the pictures.

Simple suggestion. Be patient and wait until the RFE reaches you.. read the request, satisfy it and send the material they are looking ASAP, and then wait.

My wife\'s RFE for EAD was because of insufficient funds. I had sent a check of $195 for EAD and AP. Her AP was approved and we receved it but they are saying they didn\'t receive money for EAD. The check was cashed on 6/8. Lawyer responded to the RFE with a copy of originally check. They sent a second RFE asking us to send a copy of the cancelled encashed check. Just sent the copy of the cancelled check I received from bank yesterday to the lawyer.
 
Does any Query after 485 delays the approval date

We have have filed for 485, EAD and parole visa on same date. I got my FP notice even before I got my EAD. My EAD was delayed. My lawyer informed us we need to send photos again.

I finally got my EAD one month later sending the photos. Is it going to delay the 485 approval? I mean any queries during 485 is going to delay the approval date?
