No FP till date..people who have filed their cases in the last 2 months (no offense) have their FP\'s done. How can NSC screw something so simple -up so bad..I know a lot of people who filed for 485 between Jan/May 01 are still waiting for FP, while some are getting approvals ????

Where is your area?

According to the messages posted on this site, the FP notice is processed based on the "workload of local INS office". FP in Chicago, Denver and some cities is really fast while that in Portland Oregon and Seattle WA are awfully slow.

That may be true, but in my case (from St. Louis)..some people with ND/RD in May/June/July have got their FP\'s..so I\'m not sure what\'s going on..

I read on the message board somewhere that FP\'s from Jan to May have ben screwed up..who knows ehn they will fix it. Tried calling IIo..same standard response..we are processing Dec 00 cases, u still have time..I am sick and tired of all this.
 
I know this won\'t make you feel better much...

But, I saw many cases approved about 1 or 2 months after the FP dates. So... we can say that you still have a couple of months to meet the "average lead time". Talking to the senator\'s office might be also a good idea. Take it easy man.

i got my FP done in june BUT my wife has still not got her FP notice!

is this going to postpone my AOS also or will it just affect my wife\'s?

also, my company is not doing well & i might be laid off. what are my options?

If this is true..ur wife, like us may be one among the 6000 cases

I read somewhere in this message board that NSC missed atleast 6000 cases filed between Jan and May for FP..I don\'t know how far this is true though. It looks like we are among the unfortunate 6000.

I believe the source for this (as reported in this board) was a NSC teleconf report to AILA.

IS THIS TRUE...

Can anyone confirm..if so what actions can we take

Talked to IIO just now..no use..she said the samething..we are processing Jan 10 01 cases..wait...blah blah blah..
