things to do after entering US

hi, I am a new user here,but have been following this forum for quite some time.

My parents recently had their GC approved which was filed on their behalf by my mom's brother,who is a citizen.My parents are planning to enter US in August.I wanted to know whether they have to go and stay with my uncle or they can stay with me(I am in US on a temporary visa).And also what all thing do they need to do once in the coun try.Can they apply for their SSN no.,etc. at my place or they need to do at my uncle's place(we live in different states)?
I will be grateful for reply.I have no ides about all the stuff needed to be done.

It will be wise for them to go directly by your uncle because when they filled their biographic part one they ask what is their intended address in the US and they filled your uncle then they have to go there until they have their green card also they could file s s card.
 
they can go anywhere they want to. They do not have to live with your uncle, or even go there after their arrival. Once your uncle gets their physical plastic GCs, he'll send them. Your parents can apply for their SSNs at any office.

If they move within the States, they have to file AR-11 with the USCIS within 10 days.
