They are insane, I just got an RTD notice

:mad: I applied for RTD couple of days ago and I already received a confirmation notice (quick response), however the notice says that it takes them in average 420 to 450 days to process it. The same numbers show on-line.
So I'll have to wait year and a half to get a document that will be valid for a year. I'm going to explode, grrrrrrr :eek:

from my experience, they always say that it takes 350-450 days
my last one took about 5 months, sep-feb
 
Well you need to know that when the issue you a document, the validity starts then only. So usually it takes a week to get something in email..meaning you will always have 1 year validity date on the RTD no matter when its processed.
 
I applied last Nov, and after my lawyer informed me of my case number, I looked it up online, and the result showe that it would take more than a year. I called the 800 number, and the person was no help as usual. But I did receive my RTD four month later.

I don't have the URL now, but Nebraska service center publishes the processing time for, among other things, RTD (since RTD is processed there). It provides info on the latest notice dates before which all the cases have been processed. Just do a yahoo or google search, and you should be able to find that official site.

I surely hope I'll get it sooner, I sent it planning 6 months ahead of the time when I need it.
