Thanks a bunch for your responses.
The AP (3rd) story took a twist yesterday with the senator's office confirming that the document was mailed FedEX RED by TSC and that it has been lost. As the ap is equivalent to a visa, they have to trace the lost mail before they can issue a duplicate version.

My attorney has given up hope and has told me to go to charlotte uscis and beg & plead for ap. I want a 12 month AP and don't want anything less.

The next step is to get the tracking number for the lost mail and trace it!!

Golly...Glad that you had hearkened to our pleas to not leave the country, before you get the documents for sure! See, how it has helped you, at least in the interim period. Never leave until you are absolutely sure that you are not undermining your own prospects in haste. There may be a situation for such a tough call and my prayer is that nobody should undergo that emotional torture.

chola, I pray everything works out for you. I plan to go india sometime in Feb and applied for AP in July 2nd week.

Never seen....

a FedEx package lost so far.. Been using them for last 4 years..... I guess the TSC must have messed up something .....

One of my friend, last year was told by INS that his ead application not able to find it with them and advised to resend the application, but he got the ead card same day. I hope chola get his ap papers very soon...
