I485 filed concurrantly with I140 in March 2003.
Pd was Feb2001.
I140 approved July the same year...working on EAD.
INterview OCt 2004......officer did not approve as "Back ground Checks " were pending.
Inquiry on Jan 21 2005 Infopass .reply recd Pending Additional review.
Enquiry again dec 2005 info pass....Was told Back ground Checks are clear but PD not current.
enquiry through attorney through mail.reply the same month "pending addional review"

Enquiry august 2006 infopass ....this time was told all checks are clear and PD is current but still waiting for Employment checks initiated in 2004.
Asked them please send reminder to agencies.was given assurance ...will do

Then 3fp in January again. Enquiry through mail by attorney in January .Reply Certian necessary checks for National security are Pending.

Infopass MAY 2007......WAs informed All checks are clear and they dont know why the case is held up.
Immigration officer meeting..........same reply as recd in Jan 2005.PEnding review........
Now if they are waiting for emplyment checks shouldnt they sending letters again to thew agency they requested. maybe they lost the file or something.

MY options at this point........?????

come on people...IS WOM an option in this case. What happens if I file a WOM. Can they deny the case once they deny the WOM.
 
If your PD is current and your security checks are pending for more than a year, WOM is an option.
 
Did you contact Congress man/ Senator already? If not then contact them first, if no progress in few months then file WOM.
