Gurus,

Please help. My wife\'s plastic card was returned to TSC undelivered. She is staying at the address, the letter was not delivered as her name was not written on the mailbox. I used the AVM to get a status on the greencard. She got the receipt. I am trying calling TSC call center hotline #(214-381-1423) during the business hour for last week, but I am getting the line busy all the time. Is there another mean to get in touch with TSC?

would you mind informing when did you get your Passport stamped?

One of my friend also expereinced the same as he moved few months back. he got it later but don\'t know what he did. I\'ll post his experience tomorrow.

Please post the place where u got it stamped and did AVM changed changed when they sent the card.

The same thing happened in my wife\'s case. Her card was mailed and it was returned back to TSC (apparently they missed out the APT# in her case ). I got thru to TSC abt 15 days ago ( after weeks and weeks of trying..but there is no alternative) and the lady IIO was very polite. She verified the address and fixed the address in the database. She the said that we can expect the card in 3 weeks. Within a week after that my wife got her welcome notice and a week after that she got her card (with the original letter inside except that the address portion had a sticker with the new address pasted on it).

I went to the local INS office, they just restamped the passport for further one year and gave us the enquiry form for TSC. We mailed the enquiry form and waited for 2 months. No response and so we started calling TSC.

So keep trying and you should get it.

address change with EAD , AP and I 485 killing me

Hi, I am experiencing a similar issue but only worse. My husband and I filed for I485, EAD and AP in Aug 2001. My husband recieved his I485 reciept and we moved .My lawyer had already contacted the TSC ( by mail) regarding the address change .But unfortunately all the reciepts came to my old address and went back undeliverable. We contacted the post office and they said they cannot keep such mail with them waiting for us to come pick it up . My lawyer asked me to reapply for EAD and AP. I am trying to call the AVM and see if I can change the address for future reciepts/notices.Can you/anyone explain a little more how the phone call works if ever I get through . I do have my src numbers of EAD and AP which I found out from the check they cashed with the bank. Just want to find out the formalities I need to be careful and the documents I need for them to verify me .
