Please help: The nightmare that is my H1b application
Hello everybody,
Nice portal you have here, it is informative.
My story is simple [I wish]:
I belong to one of the [26 countries], I was on F-1 for 9 years, then in 2004, I found a sponsor for an H1b application, so I submitted [expedited one] on time and made it before the cap filled; now comes the problem, I have been stuck in "name check" EVER SINCE, my attorneys contacted multiple times, I sent letters to my local congressman, changed lawyers, and still got the same response just recently "pending NAME CHECK".
This has ruined my life and finances as I can't even go back my war torn home country.
Is there a way or someone that can help me have this nightmare over with !?
Also,
My lawyer told me that I might need to file an extension NOW [yes, the same one made by people with an approved H1b in 2004] since the pending H1b Application was made 3 years, is that accurate or does my lawyer not know what she is talking about !?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks a bunch
