The new fee structers

Seems like like they are very high compared to what we are used.

This is about the same as what was proposed when this went for comments.
(485 fees went up a bit more - EAD and AP remain the same).

Now it is too late to do anything -- public comment period is over.

However the good thing is that, new 485 filings (after 7/16) with the new fee would include EAD and AP at no charge.
So I think this would save money at the end of the day to most EB 485 applicants (who go through an average of 3 EAD/AP per person)

I have been stuck in the NC for 15 month by now. I had to renew EAD/AD for myself + dependent twice. If I am stuck in NC next year, one-time renewal will cost me >$1,200:(

I guess when the demand exceeds the supply, it's all about money.

They can try to prove otherwise, but I don't believe it. I firmly believe that premium processing is a legalized bribe :mad:
