The latest report posted on the USCIS website shows that approvals are increasing and receipts have decreased for the second month.

Looks like the six month goal may be met more by default rather than design.

Also it is horrifying to see a 15% rate of Denied applicants.

Cause for the Denials

Hi Friends,

Is there anyway to figure out the cause of Denials in the report attached to the Graphs.

Looks like Denying approvals is a way of quick clearance of the backlog, the thought of it is in itself very scary. Hopefully that is not the way it works.

I am an optimist, but yet to be practical we still need to know the trend and facts to determine some sort of conclusion +ve or -ve.

Please let me know (if you know or come to know) of how to determine the cause for Denials.

denial rate seems to reflect current market conditions. Lots of people have moved out of US due to job losses.

The glass is half empty. The latest report posted on the USCIS website shows that pending cases are increasing.

Also the statistic for I-485 is totally appalling. Even if the graphs for overall pending cases decrease, it does not mean anything as far as I-485 is concerned till we see any +ve trends for it. So wake up and stop day dreaming.
