The fingerprint experience

I want to make a comment about my experience with fingerprinting. I only spent 35 minutes there and my hands were not messed up since they did it electronically. I will call the FBI hot number to see whether my fp were cleared and will keep you posted about anything new. By the way, the guy at the FP was really nice and courtuous. I felt really good today and saw a new ray of hope.

It happens that the Support Centers where FP are taken, are not INS dependencies. They are private companies providing the FP service for INS. Obviously, they are supervised by INS, but what I mean is that people working in those support centers are not INS employees.
So, there is a big difference in customer service.

If you were fingerprinted in an Application Support Center, as I believe, they are not INS employees.
ASC's are sites the INS has opened all over the US just to provide FP service. Normally they are located at a different place from the local INS office.

Question:
i did my fringerprint before my case approved in 1999, i applied my green card in 2000,since then i have never gotten notices of getting fringerprints, is it normal?

The fingerprints are only valid for 15 months. So, If you have done them long before this period, it is more likely that you will have to do them again.
