The fastest EAD approval ---One Day Only

My EAD takes one day for approval and it is the fastest I have ever heard. It is NOT premium processing.

USCIS CSC received my application on 01/08/2007
Notice Date: 01/11/2007
Approval Date: 01/11/2007, same day as notice date
Today (01/19/2007) received EAD card mail.

Too fast to believe, but it is true. Several days ago I thought CIS enter a wrong message, as a matter of fact, it is not wrong.

What about Biometerics........or were they no Biometrics??

Ead I-765

hey, ppl. I just need to know if I should put the SSN that I used to work even if was made up (fake)? or should I not put anything on the form I-765??
what do you guys did?
is the question #9

Congratulations!! although as someone who has been off work for over a month waiting for NBC to process mine I am extremely jealous.

I don't think you should put any made up information on a CIS form if you want them to approve anything ... I would suggest getting a legal SSN

CSC processed my EAD since my I-485 is pending in CSC. It is a paper-based EAD application.

BTW, If you file in a paper-based application, you do not need biometric, specifically no fingerprint. If you e-file, you need have biometrics for photo and fingerprint.

I was fingerprinted last year and the year before for paper filed EAD in California but I am hearing this from a lot of people this year.

jimothy,

If you are employment-based EAD application (paper-based), no fingerprint requirement.
I just noticed that you are family-based (marriage-based), yes, if you are family-based, you need fingerprint, no matter it is paper-based or e-filed.

xyr888,

Your approval is certainly one for the record-books. I have never heard of such efficiency (in this case, abnormality) from USCIS.

As far as biometrics are concerned, I have had to get them done (this includes a trip to the local ASC office) EVERY time I applied paper-based employment EAD.

I'm little unclear as to the difference between FP and biometrics and see them being used interchangeably every now so often. If biometrics are for EAD and FP for I-485 only then yes, I have had to get both at one time or another.

I have paper based application and for the last two years I have been getting a call for Biometrics

Biometrics for EAD will be one or two fingerprints and a photograph. Fingerprints for I485 will be whole hand. This is then checked against databases to see if there is a match anywhere.

Is it Possible??

My EAD approved and card mailed on 01/22 but my I-140 is not yet touched since 01/04. Is it possible to get EAD BEFORE I-140 is approved. I thought EAD is after 140 and before 485. Please advise. Thanks

should be OK

I believe this is normal and this is how it usually happens. EAD is given when you have pending I-485. You have pending I-485, so you get EAD, irrespective of approval of I-140.

However, it would probably be unwise to use EAD/AP before I-140 gets approved, although it depends on how much risk you're willing to take.

I also read here a long time ago that if you have RFE on I-140, then USCIS may refuse to issue EAD or AP until you answer RFE and can even refuse to give you interim EAD until 90 days after you answer I-140 RFE. So there is still some dependency between I-140 and EAD.

If you read signatures carefully, I think you will find many people here who applied for I-140/I-485/I-131/I-765 concurrently and got I-131/I-765 approved before approval of I-140.
