the date to determine conditional/unconditional GC

Hi,

I am sure this has been discussed many time, but I want to make myself clear.

I am married to USC, which will be 2 years in June 2006. We file application package 7 months ago. If i receive my GC after June - since the married will be 2 years - will I still receive conditional GC?.

Is is that a couple have to wait for at least 2 years before filling in order to receive the unconditional GC?.

I will appreciate very much if somebody can explain to me!!

If you get the GC approval after the 2nd anniversary of you marriage...you will get an UNCONDITIONAL GC.

I am not sure if I got the second question right but the whole 2yr, conditional/unconditional thing depends on the day you get your GC and NOT the day you file the application.
