The current EAD is for valid for 1 year or 2 years?

The current EAD is valid for 1 year or 2 years?

Somebody mentioned it was gonna be valid for 2 years. Nobody is talking about this now.

I guess it is still for 1 year, right?

We submit two EAD applications on 2/13/04. On 4/9/04 our got approved and one got RFE. We received the approved one on Monday, it is valid for only one year, starting date is the current EAD expiring date. So didn't lose any dates. BTW, these are our 3RD EADs.
 
Nearly all EADs are valid for a year, but there has been the odd card that is valid for two years. To be sure, find the expiration date on your card.
