The beneficiary as a co-sponsor?

We will have an GC interview on 12/20 in San Antonio. My husband is USC. He is my sponsor. We submitted I864 at the initial filing. We are asked to bring I864 plus I864A for co-sponsor for the interview. I believe that my husband's income is over the poverty limit when we filed.
My question is:
Do we still need to have a co-sponsor to fill out I864A?
Can I fill out I864A as a beneficiary?

Thank you for all your help and congradelation to you and your spouse.

yes you can. You can combine your incomes. That's weird though. If your husband alone is above poverty line it's really strange they request a co-sponsor

yes this is a quirky little loophole that may not have been the intended purpose but in the end is justified.

The loophole come about because spouses incomes are combined when two people get married.

You have two competing issues. First you have this idea of a person related to you has to "sponsor" you. Second (the most recent requirement) is the idea of having enough money and resources to not become a public burden. Both requirements are satisfied in this case.
