I would like to take this opportunity to thank one and all on this forum especially rajiv khanna who has done an excellent job. Rajiv has altered my image about lawyers and how they can help you out. He has done lot of selfless act like filing suit against ins and taking a lot of initiatives to help the immigration community. Even this forum and how easy it is to use it is all thanks to him. This website and people like Pongurnaar have increased my awareness about immigration law including other miscellaneous laws which I hope i will not have to use ..assualt, shop lifting and what not
I have changed jobs and not informed INS or used AC21. My lawyer wanted to make a quick buck but i refused to do it. I read the law and felt it was not required. I always felt it was not required to give them information which they have not asked for. I think getting a card or not or the time you will get it depends on Karma. Someday maybe I will write a book on the entire experience..
Again would like to wish 2002 folks better luck and faster approvals especially people like Patel, Pongurnaar and even people who have pending cases like goastros. I felt 2002 was the worst year to file esp after september 11, 2001 everything slowed down like george fernandes railway strike in bombay. Now can begin my second phase in life like buying a house and not being worried about titles when looking for a job.
I will visit the forum but not 50 times a day like i used to do. INS and the process has made me into a pessimist that even after mailing of the card I felt that it still could be misplaced or mispelled like many guys here. Like I said earlier my Karma held good after FP..the whole process from fp to receipt of card took less than 60 days.
See you around guys I will be visiting web sites like www.sulekha.com in my attempt to write ..so if you guys come around there we still can keep in touch....or one day maybe I will be sitting in barnes and noble on my nation wide book tour

signing out for now
