Yes , it is kind of normal .I personally wait around two months for interview from the date that case has been transferred , but my exGF (ND few months earlier than my ND , case transferred to the local office one week after mine , and she had I-602) still waiting , her current status is "Files transferred to the National Record Center (NRC)" according to congresswoman representative.
Do not worry , and good luck!

The problem is that they cannot meet the 45 day goal for applicants outside the immediate vicinity of the asylum office. Your asylum office is SF and you are in Washington State. They can interview you if and only if the SF asylum office sends offiers to Seattle for interviews. You need to find out how often they do that.

Another possibility is that you can inform the SF office that you are willing to be interviewed in SF. No guarantees but they probably will OK the request. You will of course have to pay for the trip to SF.

As always, thank you guys for your insightful advices. I will probaple wait for about another month or two and see what the next step might be......Thanks alot guys..........It feels good to belong a community that cares and turns for help and advice to each other....Keep the good faith...God bless you all....
