I joined this forum in 2010. I learned a lot during my process and I always come back to give back. I have been a PR for four years now, I owe my status to this forum. They should create a ''Donate'' button. I faced the Immigration officer without an attorney because I could not raise the funds, but the information in this forum is worth way more than the best attorney out there. I now run my own company. While my first thread to post here was about how to obtain an employment card, I see a lot of those cards presented by my employees; and I remember this forum. Keep the spirit high, it's a very good sign that we are one. America is great.

My real name is Anthony, and I live in Boston MA. For the first time I am able and brave to say that here.

That is a nice post! The forum is kindly hosted by a law firm, but people who want to "give back" to the community tend to do that by contributing answers based on their experience. You experiences will help and encourage others....

Hi Mr. Bird,
Your story is encouraging me. I read a lot about your posts, and I learned a lot from people in one of your thread that lasts 6 years (amazing!).
I have a quick question here: Is it possible for us to run our own small business legally in the stage of having restricted SSN (and driver license and of course EAD) -- when our asylum is still pending?

yes its easy, give 50 bucks to a lawyer and he will prepare your company papers, you can do business on restricted status
