myself and my wife's 485 got approved on Jul 27th '.
I got 2 emails each for our cases from USCIS and was surprised to see them.checked the case status which was also changed to ' Your case blah blah is APPROVED......yada yada......again checked the WAC # .....again checked the status!!!!!
. could not believe it , but YES it has happened to me...the approvals are there.
our ND's are AUG'2003.

140 approved May -2003
485 ND-Aug'2003
1st FP done in March'2004
LUD history--04/01 for finger printing
07/07 --no change of status
07/27------------------change of status to APPROVED
No RFE's
Got all my approval notices yesterday.
I am sure everybody is going to get it (i know the question is 'WHEN'
)
of all people first of all i would like to Thank that officer who approved my case so generously....Thank you officer No. @#$%^ ( pray to god that everybody gets this officer ).
Last but not the least this portal and forum is a great service by Mr Rajiv Khanna. Thanks Mr Khanna for providing a very useful forum to us.
Thank you --all you guys there on the immigration portal team(Kashmir,140-takes_ever....and all you guys for your voluntary service).
Something which i forgot to mention was i applied for an EAD renewal in the previous week, before my last LUD.
