AD : Mar-05-2001 (AVM updated 03/06/01, yesterday)

Applications of my spouse and my daughter are also approved same day. I am waiting for copies of approval notices.

I take this opportunity to thank Mr.Rajiv Khanna, who maintains such a wonderful site for the benefit of our community(GC people). I owe him some thing, Thanks Mr.Khanna.

I thank my fellow GC friends who provided much valuable information. And my prayers for them to get out of this arduous process soon. May God bless everyone of you to become a permanent resident soon.

Congratulations Sujitha. That is good news. My ND was also 10/4/99 in EB2, but my finger prints are done in Feb/01. So I may have to wait for another 3-4 months ??? What was your RFE for ?

Congratulations Sujatha,

I have a question, when INS sent your the RFE, did the AVM change to reflect that an RFE is sent out? Also when you replied back the RFE with required documents, they updated the AVM stating that they received your RFE? I have sent my RFE last week but my AVM never changed to what it was from beginning of filing I-485. Please let us all know. Thanks and enjoy the freedom! and keep us posted about your passport stamping experience...

Thanks for your wishes, BJSR and AGOVIL.
The RFE was only about Employment Letter. RFE was send by VSC on 02/09/01. AVM updated on same day mentioned about this.Reply for RFE was mailed on 02/20/01 (sorry, I mentioned it as 02/22/01). AVM updated on 03/01/01 saying RFE was received on 02/27/01. So it may take few days for AVM to be updated.
