Hi,
My wife from Philippines. She has GC one year now. We Just got Termination of Conditinal Resident Status Letter. The letter has serious error. "that you were admitted to the United States as a conditinal perment resident on 5/18/2004. My wife 's GC issued on 5/18/2005 expire 5/18/2007. the Letter has wrong year on it.
The letter show we failed file removal of conditinal basis between 2/18/2006 and 5/18/2006. We suppose file paperwork on 2/18/2007. My wife's GC has two year. We planned and brought non-refundable airline ticket to Philippines on Dec.
anyone got simlar with serious error on letter? How I can solve this problem. I spoke to Customer service and I was told make appointment to speak INS officer and show proof of I-797 notice action as 5/19/2005 her GC approved.
Any suggestion?

Assuming you don't want to hire an attorney to follow this up for you, then you should take an interview as soon as possible at your local USCIS office, take all the relevant documentation with you, and speak with an officer. They might be able to correct the mistakes in the system while you are there. And make sure to get the name/badge number of the officer you speak with for future reference and correspondence.

Alternatively, you could reply to the service center that issued the notice and processed your condition green card with a cover letter explaining the situation and provide copies of all relevant documentation. Send it certified so that you get proof it was received.

[As for Osama above, he seems to have the same answer in every post in every forum. Perhaps he'd like to share with us his tremendous successes in suing the USCIS in Federal Government. No doubt he is a genius at self-representation in front of the Federal judiciary and legal experts from the USCIS. Perhaps he could also invest in a spell checker. ] :)
