terminated job under TN

Hello,
I worked as a part time instructor for community college A and B that belong to one district, I have two different TN for each college. Additionally I posses a third TN for college C which belongs to a different district. My classes at college A were suspended because the district found out that the chair of that college wrote the job offer to get the TN and not the district themselves directly. Since it caused internal issues, my classes were cancelled. College B belongs to the same district so I expect my classes over there would be suspended too. Both TNs expiry in December 2007.
However, my third TN for college C, which belongs to a different district will only expiry this May 2007. My questions are:
1. Is it OK if I stay in the US until May 2007 under TN status since I have valid my TN1 from college C?
2. Would be a problem if I surrender my I-94 to college A, since they are requesting it (they do not know how TN really works that is why all this confusion) or when I change my status to TD in May 2007 (my husband is under TN) will the officers ask for the I-94 of college A?

1. Yes, as long as you are working at college C.
2. yes, as long as the I-94 numbers on the 3 TNs are in fact different. The officer will not ask you for any old I-94 if you go to a POE. if you do a mail in change to a TD, you will need to send a copy of your I-94.

The Chair can write the letter. Anyone with hiring/firing capabilities can write the letter.

That had nothing to do with immigration, and everything to do with the employer's own policies. All that CBP/USCIS cares about is that the person writing the letter has the authority to offer employment.
 
I agree,

Sounds like they are screwed up and haven't got a clue that it's really just work authorization.
 
Thanks for the replies. I still have my three TN1. I am not working in one of the colleges but it is mainly due to the employer's own policies of not allowing a chair to write a job offer letter, letter that was considered by the college district as a "sponsorship letter", as I was told (yes, they haven't got a clue what really TN status is). There is a big issue now with this "XXX community colleges", they are under audit by the federal government because of misappropriation of funds that is why they are really treading carefully and they are not accepting anything out of their usual procedures.
It is contradictory since I am still working for the same district but for another college. I had no problems with immigrations when I applied for my TNs with the letter writen by three different chairs. I believe it was not the right time and right place!
