Hypothetically, if a person may have been out of status in the past but his I-485 application has been accepted by INS, how safe is it for him to get AP and go back to his home country?
Hypothetically it is safe, but practically it may not
Hypothetically it is safe, but practically it may pose some danger. Like INS somehow finding out at the port of entry and then denying the entry. IMHO, its better to be safe now than sorry later.
