Tekmark Whats Wrong With This Gora Company

Just a word of Caution for Every one Dealing With Tekmark Global Solutions
I learnt one thing that it is better to work with a desi company because they understand the pain and suffering ones go through during GC process, one of my friend in his second stage of his GC process was laid off due to tough Economic Conditions from this particular company and with no mercy his H-1/b was cancelled and local INS office plus vermont was informed and in just matter of time he was deported from USA because he was not white and this particular company cancelled all H-1/b while off the work.
Some how he managed to get back to USA by changing his passport plus using strong link in India and sued this particular company for not giving him his salary plus some other dues which the company owed him. Now the company has paid him $75000 for damages precourt to move on.
So just a caution for all of us to deal with such Gora companies. As long they can make money off U they are happy.

I agree with you. I had seen the same pattern with American companies, however big they are. They don' just care. I worked for a Desi company for my Green Card and though is frustrated many times, they have not done anything to screw up my GC. I feel and felt safe.
But I know many people who did not want to join Desi companies for the sake of money and Stocks etc, are suffering so much. One of my friend's company was laying of heavily and he was doing his GC. He called the HR nervously to ask about wht would happen to his gC if he got laid off. They cooly said, 'Oh! We would inform INS accordingly!" ... What?!!!!! It is an American Company..

Of course stupids, these are american companies... they are freakin' scared that if they are caught violating INS laws regarding giving work to out-of-status employees, they are freakin' screwed for life! they're just protecting their hide.

Its a very very typical american company ... meaning when the
going is good you will get paid (yeah thats about it)
When the going gets tough they WILL dump you in a hurry !
Other than that they mostly do middle-man stuff .. i.e try to
make the most from both the consulant and the end company and suck upto the Clients bigtime.
Best way to learn about them is talk to some of their sales reps ....
If you are using them as a middle man then you shouldnt
be worried ... they take their standard cut ....
will not generally bargain (depends on situation person etc..)

Similar has happened to me - B4 I got my gc and b4 being laidoff by my employer's client, I was the ' apple of their eyes' as I was bringing in good money to my employer's pockets. Soon after i was laidoff by their client (a month after i got my gc), i was dumped like a SHIT! just like that, i was freakin' dumped like a shit on a toilet bowl!!!!
I worked with my employer for almost 5 years and all of those 5 years, i wasn't benched. anyway, i got what i want from them, we're even...
