TD to TN

Has anybody who is here on TD gone to the border and got a TN based on an offer letter?

Also is there any minimum wage requirement for TN?

its straight fwd to get TN from the border if you have a solid TN letter, NOT an offer letter.

There is no min wage requirement for TN

While there is no wage minimums or guidelines, the officer is permitted by regulation -- if he determines that the wage is to little to live on -- to request evidence that you have other means of support. The fact that your spouse is a TN would be sufficient, I would think.

If the TN is denied my spouse would be able to enter the country again using the TD right?

But of course it would be better to stay near the border and get whatever issue caused denial fixed.

It would be better, though, to briefly enter the US under the TD so that it is recorded as a successful entry under TD rather than a denied entry under TN. You can turn around and go back to Canada shortly thereafter to resolve the issue. But it would be better to do so under your own terms after a successful TD entry rather than under their terms.

yes...because you felt the need to point out "near the border" comment also. Why couldnt you just leave it at the absolutely accurate response from Cal?
