Hi. My child is on TD status and per I-94, the admission date is expiring in 10 days which is linked to the expiry date of his current passport. The new passport is in process and it is going to be mailed to us in 20 days (we have already sent the current/old passport to Canada Passport with a new passport application) . Does my child need to leave country before we receive the new passport since. Will there be any consequences since he is going to overstay in country? Do we need to apply for status extension? Thanks in advance.
