We will be going to Vancouver with a primary aim to extend my TD status. (My husband's TN status is for 3 years, but at NYC about 1 year ago they gave me only 1 year TD status - lack of knowledge of US Customs there about TN/TD.)
We will be flying out of Vancouver on Sunday. My husband pointed out that it might be a problem since he had to go to some TN Treaty officer room and they work during business hours only.
Well, in NYC I was given a TD status by a regular US Customs officer.
So, my question is, do TD candidates also need to go to some special room in Vancouver airport during business hours, or is it only for initial TN status processing/application.
