TB test positive and X-ray questions

TB test is 6mm and considered to be negative by my nurse, but positive by the USCIS guidelines. :mad: Due to pregnancy, I can't do X-ray right now. The doctor said that he will hold my examination forms and give back to me after I finish the X-ray. It seems like that I can't send the 485 because I don't have the medical examination. I heard that sb sent the form out anyway without X-ray done, got the RFE later for X-ray and then did it. Does anybody have similar experience? Thanks.
 
One of my friend's wife is preganant. But she got the X-Ray done from her Gynicolgist. Please check with your doctor.

I remember reading somewhere (exactly where, i forgot) about this long time back that you can have the doctor specify on the form that you cannot do Xray due to pregnancy.. USCIS however does not make exception for pregnant women though. It would simply receive your file and would eventually issue an RFE for this part of medical exam.

This could be misinformation though. Please doublecheck with possibly a different civil surgeon, who may have a different opinion from your current doctor..
 
the dr. told me that she is going to give the sealed package which indicates that i havent done the x-ray. when i get the RFE, she will give me a X-ray done after delivery.
 
I remember reading about a case (on these very forums, I think)....
Someone was pregnant and didn't do the x-ray .... obviously they got an RFE much later ... and at that time she was pregnant again :D :D

Look what waiting for GC can do to people ;) ;)
