Congrats. looks like they started working on the RFE Cases..... I am hoping for some news but the PD beng unavailable.
I am little pessismistic.
 
glad to hear that after response to RFE, they approve your case.
Hopefully that will happen to me soon.
My attorney delayed sending my RFE response back for 10 days. I hope I can get my approval in 10 days, too.
My FP is expired. Do I need to ask for a FP notice from USCIS? Can I just go and take a FP myself?

Spouse RFE 1/25

My wife (derivative in this case) received an RFE for a TB skin test on 1/25.

The original medical form had the "not done" box checked and the XRay results were negative. She had received the BCG injection while in high school and then a positive ppd result several years later. The original Doc is on a leave of absence for several months and would not help resolve this. :mad:

So we had to find a new Doc. However, all the Docs we talked to in Southern California refused to give her a new ppd test and would have written the same information as on the original form.

We eventually found one Doc who wrote on the form that the ppd was medically inappropriate due to BCG and previous positive ppd.

The paperwork is being Fedex'd today and will arrive Monday (or Tuesday if there's a holiday for USCIS).

Anyone else experienced this kind of problem with the TB skin test result?
 
PPD positive

I have the same situation and received the RFE because of PPD positive result in 2001 .
I have another doctor (the only one in my city) to write down documented PPD + result and the size and everything in detail and sent back.
I think no doctor would like to do the PPD test again since you are already positive in the past. Makes no sense to do it again. If you do it again, it will be positive again and you need to do the X-ray again.
Waste of money and medical resources.
Hopefully the immigration officer will listen to the doctor's opinion!
 
If you want save yourself from aggravation..

do the skin test. My neighborhood Indian doctor did everything again. and it worked. Please do it one last time...for your sanity. I was too tired waiting for this to end, so I decided to do everything.. YES everything...

Tetanus
ppd skin test
HIV test
Chest X-ray..
My doctor also sent the updated immunizatoin record !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God. I am now relieved.

Recently I have sent my medical RFE. My PD is Jan 2005 I don't think I will get my card near soon, but question is what is this notice.

Yesterday I checked the online status of my I-485 and noticed it has lUD on 2/20, I am so anxious to see whether it is the LUD before approval. This morning--> I got the magic mails:
1st one: Card Ordered
2nd one: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident
I think the TB skin test RFE is a sign of approval!!!
I am so happy today!!!!
