i have a question, a friend of mine is going to aplly to GC based on the marriage but they are worried because never pay taxes, came here with visa, but always on jobs like cleaning houses, restaurants, etc, always got paid cash.is there any problem in the interview? they need to paid a fine? how does it work? trhank you very much for your help!

Taxes will be an issue for any financial sponsors, not for the beneficiaries. Illegal employment is overlooked for spouses of US citizens. This is as far as USCIS is concerned. IRS on the other hand is a different matter.
