hi there,

i was just wondering if your not living in the US right now and havent lived there in a few years but have filed taxes in canada because im living here for the past 4 yrs?

I am sponsoring my husband outside the US from Canada.

USCIS can only count income in the I-864 that can reasonably be assumed to continue after the receipt of the GC. I assume you are planning to move with your husband to the US after I-130 approval, so you income wouldn't count unless you can produce some letter from your or your husband's employer saying that they'll transfer you to a US division with equivalent salary, etc.

Otherwise you'll have to qualify via a joint sponsor or via assets.

i see now..what if i got a letter from a job offer in the states stating as soon as i got to the US i could work, and make a certain amount of money a yr?

what is over the poverty line considered for just if im sponsoring my husband?
 
i filed taxes when i was living there, but i dont work there, or live there so why must i file taxes?
 
but what am i filing for if im not living there, ive been filing taxes here in canada? can i show that?the last time i filed taxes was about 3 yrs ago every other after that was 0.

what do i need to do im panicking i have my interview with my husband in 3 weeks. hes the one im sponsoring for.?????? omg help!
 
If you didn't make any money that's what you need to declare. I would consult with an attorney on this if I were you.
