do we need tax transcripts for CP interview?
is only tax returns enough or not?
How to gt tax transcripts?
Pls answer if anybody knows about it.
 
I believe you can get them from your local IRS office. it\'s bsically IRS\'s record of your tax filings for the year you ask for. You cna either writ tot hem or just og there one day and pick it upk, as far as I know.

You would be able to get the numbers from this site, depending upon your site. You have to call a toll free number in there and they would ask for all your information, and you have to ask for the tax TRANSCRIPTS for all the year till now.
One of my freind who already got over with CP, said that tax transcript are one of the important documents to carry for CP.
 
Transcripts not received yet

Problem !!!
I had sent for my transcripts 3 weeks ago and I have still not received them and I am already supposed to leave for India later this week.

Can I submit a copy of my tax applications that I had submitted to IRS instead. What other alternatives do I have ?

Please help.
