Tax transcripts question

Hope someone can help. The date on my green card is August 2004, so I apply this year for naturalisation.

I have received back from the IRS my tax transcripts for years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. They did not provide me with 2004 (I did request it) as they only make available the current year and the previous 3 years.

Do I also need the transcript for 2004? If the answer is yes - can anyone advise how to go about this through the IRS.

I took 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 tax transcripts and 2008 w2. During interview when I offered the previous 4 years transcripts she said onl;y one year is sufficient especially last year. The feeling I got is that they just want to make sure if you owe any money to govt. She was not interested in reviewing the transcripts either.

USCIS officers probably don't like seeing tax transcripts when majority of applicants make more than them
