1. I received TAX transcript from IRS. Do I need to get notarised on the tax transcript ?

2. Also on the AP, to get the Multiple entry, do I need to write in the covering letter indicating 2 planned outside uSA trips or just one will do.

No, there's no need to notarised tax transcrpts.
The second part of your question I am not sure about.

You send the original transcripts with your applications. Hence you dont have to notarize them.

Whether you want mutiple entry or single, you indicate when filling up the I-131 (section 7.1), not the cover letter.

thanks Ari4u. If I mail the original transcripts with my applications, do I take a copy of the transacript for interview ?

Don't do that. They'll keep your originals if you give them originals :D
All they need is photocopies. Just make sure you bring your original Birth Certificate, passport & driver license or ID when you go to the interivew.

I agree with princesskate. Do not send them originals, you might need them on the interview.
All those guys nees is photocopies of the original tax transcripts.
They actually indicate in their forms that photocopies are fine, unless they ask for originals.

just to be safe, we r planning to send copies of notarised transcript from IRS FOR 2002,2003 and 2004.

for 2005, I just received TAX transcript from IRS WHICH is not notarised. I am going to send a copy of this..

Yes it should be fine.
Hm... I didn't notarise anything when I was filing, and didn't encounter any problems.

Original and photocopy look exactly the same and USCIS doesnt care which you send them.

the documents that need to be notarized and submitted in originals are affidavits (that are used in lieu of missing birth or marriage certificates), I-864, I-864A. For all other documents (excepting translations which have to be certified), a photocopy is good and notarizing is not needed. I wonder where people get the idea that every page of the AOS package has to be notarized.

That is absolutely true and correct.

I wonder where people get the idea that every page of the AOS package has to be notarized.

Probably from so-called lawyers that don't know Jack Shit.
