I am petitioning for my spouse. The question I have is that my tax return says "married but filing separately" because my spouse lives abroad. Once I fill the affidavit of support and send the tax return form, will the USA consulate abroad create a problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Nah, u just said said u filled married but filling separate. why do u think u might have a problem? unless u re not married but claiming u are.
