tax return papers for ref?? --help

I have got a ref and one of my friend said that ref might be for Tax Return papers and I need to get these from IRS.

What do I need to get from IRS ?
Where to get this info?

Does my tax filing papers won't be enough?

You dont need any papers from IRS, you will have a copy of your tax returns,(w2,1099 etc). that will be enough.

In case you don't have copies of your tax returns, you can go to any IRS office and request/get copies of your tax returns. They have all the records.
